More infidelity
Christa was pretty unhappy and quite lonely. She wanted to get a job but Malcolm expects his women to stay home. So Christa went on a date with her lover, Dominic Brown.

They met at the love maze and took romantic pics, woohooed and, lo and behold, Christa got pregnant.
All was fine for a while. As usual, Malcolm didn’t notice anything as he was hardly home. Christa seemed to have put on a little weight. There was also a new vase he hadn’t seen before but he didn’t think anything of it. But then the inevitable happened. He began to notice Christa’s growing bulk. But it wasn’t until he caught her kissing Dominic that he put two and two together. He gave Christa her marching orders and fought Dominic.

Malcolm’s third marriage was over. He’d rejected four women now.
Just as Dominic was leaving, Malcolm junior returned home with his girlfriend.

Christa moved into the house of rejects (the murder place of Malcolm’s illegitimate children and the refuge of Jancine and now Christa). Christa invited Dominic round so he could move in. Not a moment too soon.

Christa gave birth to a girl – Chrystal.
Back at Malcolm’s, Malcolm junior successfully got Melina pregnant in his room above the garage.

Another generation of Landgraabs begins.
Wife number two leaves
Malcolm wasn’t having too much success in his relationships. Christa timed it wrong for her love interest to visit.

Malcolm caught Christa flirting with Dominic Brown when he returned from work. After a slapping he walked away, leaving Christa to continue flirting, which Malcolm junior still didn’t like.

So now Malcolm couldn’t sleep with either of the women in his house.
He put his energies into a new business. He bought the Simoleon Arcade and completely redid the place, making it into a furniture shop.

Even just working there by himself and with his slow cash register skill, he made quite a bit of money on the first day of opening.
Meanwhile, his wife, Jancine, had started seeing good friend, Dan Govan in Veronaville (Dan’s life is told at Growing Sims).
It became pretty obvious to Christa that Jancine was pregnant and that Malcolm wasn’t the father (they hadn’t slept in the same bed since Jancine had caught Malcolm and Christa together). The birth was witnessed by Christa and Malcolm junior. The baby girl was called Jasmine (after one of Dan’s deceased lovers).

Christa took care of it while Jancine slept.
Malcolm seemed oblivious of the advancing pregnancy, busy with his businesses and crime career. It wasn’t until he saw the baby that he realised and gave Jancine her marching orders.

The marriage was over.

Jancine was made to leave but without her baby. Malcolm spitefully took the baby, put it in the cot and promptly ignored it. Naturally she was not allowed to take their son either. He was the heir to the Landgraab riches.
Jancine moved across the road to where the murders of Malcolm’s other children had taken place. She didn’t know that, but she redecorated a particularly nasty room in the hopes of getting her baby back.

She hoped Christa would help out and smuggle her baby to her. Christa didn’t mind – she didn’t want to be left to look after the crying baby all the time. She dropped the kid off outside.

Jancine found her a bit later and was too thankful to have her daughter back to be angry at Christa, who’d done her a favour.

Baby Jasmine’s father, Dan, found out about Jancine’s eviction and invited her over, proposed and had them both move in. The details of Dan and Jancine’s relationship are over at Growing Sims.
Divorce and marriage
Malcolm lived on as usual, both in his career in crime and looking after his businesses. His electrical store was now Rank 2 but he hadn’t spent much time at the restaurant. When he was busy in his study he didn’t want his son annoying him or getting into the bathroom so he locked him outside on the balcony.

He sat there quite happily even after Malcolm snr had gone to bed and left him there. Jancine woke up and unlocked the door to feed him and put him to bed.
A couple of days later, Malcolm jnr grew into school age so he could use the bedroom above the garage and not bother Malcolm snr.

He has the scary eyebrows.
Meanwhile Malcolm’s legal wife, Mehrissa, and her ‘landlord’, Adrian Lewis, started getting friendly.

Larissa wasn’t too happy at first at all the cuddling and kissing with her mother, but she got used to it. Adrian wanted to marry Mehrissa but realised he couldn’t propose until she’d officially broken up with Malcolm.
So Mehrissa invited the unsuspecting Malcolm around while Larissa was at school. She was going to start an argument, but as it happens, she didn’t need to do anything because Malcolm caught her kissing Adrian who had just come up randomly and hugged her.

That’s all Mehrissa needed to break up with Malcolm.
Adrian wasted no time in proposing to her, even while Malcolm was still there.

Malcolm still didn’t like them hugging…

Adrian couldn’t stand around and see his fiancee being slapped so he attacked Malcolm.

Although Malcolm won the fight, Adrian asked him to leave. He had the option of paying him off with 50 Simoleans but he wasn’t about to give Malcolm a penny.
Mehrissa got a job as a lab assistant to help pay the bills. Malcolm had never allowed her to work when she was his wife. Adrian and Mehrissa had enough money to build upstairs.

And it was upstairs that they got married privately, with Larissa the only witness.

Mehrissa Landgraab IV was now Mehrissa Lewis and she was very happy.
