The end of Malcolm, long live Malcolm.
Malcolm senior was pretty depressed. He was getting old and tired, so he transferred his property deeds to Malcolm junior and didn’t have the energy to do anything more. He despaired of ever getting a grandson. Meanwhile his grand-daughters were, of course, not getting much attention.
Baby Miseria, forgotten in a cot in the garage, grew to toddlerhood.
They’re quite cute kids actually. But Malcolm senior discouraged his son from giving them much attention. They got fed and cleaned and that’s about it. Melina was by now heavily pregnant, but Malcolm snr didn’t live long enough to see whether it would be another grand-daughter or the much wanted grandson. His end came just as he got back from work.
He was just 68.
Celine grew to school-age.
Then Melina finally gave birth – to Malcolm VI. The grandson came too late for Malcolm IV but Malcolm V was relieved. He couldn’t concentrate on business with a constant stream of screaming babies.

As you can see, Melina was pregnant with a second child. Unfortunately, it was another girl, and was named Miseria. What a disappointment. Naturally Malcolm senior wants Malcolm junior to ditch Melina and try someone else. Instead Malcolm junior has got Melina pregnant again. Who knows what will happen if it’s yet another girl!
Malcolm senior, meanwhile, is trying to pass on his awards, etc, to Malcolm junior – it seems to be taking forever – probably longer than the time Mal snr has left!

But then Melina and Malcolm V aren’t married yet. Malcolm senior said not to marry her until she produced a boy – or be thrown out of the house penniless. So no wedding bells yet.

The Malcolms talk shop while heavily pregnant stay-at-home mum-to-be feigns interest.
The day of the birth came round but alas, it was another girl called Celine. Oh dear. Try again.
Meanwhile Malcolm IV made another few thousand profit at his furniture shop.
Malcolm V’s mother, Jancine, is still living in Veronaville fairly broke. Her daughter by Dan, Jasmine, is now school age. (No pics.)
The young daughter of Melissa, Malcolm’s first wife, (Adriana) is also now school age. Adult daughter, Larissa, is still living a meagre existence in a beach house by the sea – no job, no boyfriend, no friends to speak of. (Perhaps having Malcolm Landgraab IV as a father led to her unpopularity?)

Landgraabs at uni
Over at Mehrissa and Adrian’s, Mehrissa’s pregnancy was becoming obvious. Larissa didn’t want to hang around any new babies so she headed off to Academie le Tour. She decided on a Mathematics major.
Mehrissa gave birth to another daughter and called it Adriana.
Malcolm IV meanwhile was doing quite well with his furniture shop. He and Christa got together again and Malcolm felt he may as well propose to Christa.
He’s so romantic.
The next day was the wedding…
It’s a bit dark, sorry. Obviously they need outdoor lighting. Malcolm had just come home from work, grown into an elder and it was there on the footpath that they exchanged vows. (How decent of him.) Now he could get back to work.
Malcolm V didn’t want to hang around either. He headed off to uni a couple of Sim days after half-sister Larissa. He moved into a different dorm.
He hasn’t chosen a major yet.
