Larissa dies
Larissa Landgraab, daughter of Malcolm Landgraab IV and his first wife, starved to death in her home, along with her teenage son, Larry Danaher.
Because Larry is a Danaher and the Danahers’ story is over at Growing Sims, the details of their deaths are there.
Whatever happened to…?
Jancine Landgraab? Jancine was Malcolm senior’s second wife who’d cheated on Malcolm with Dan over in Veronaville. Malcolm, you may remember, had realised Jancine (his second wife) had cheated on him and threw her out. She moved in with her lover, Dan, and married him. Their daughter’s name was Jasmine (after one of Dan’s earlier conquests). Unfortunately Dan was old and he died, leaving no will and his much older legitimate daughter wanting the house to herself. Jancine and child were thrown out yet again.
Jancine moved to a tiny two-storeyed house in Veronaville and looked after her daughter on a pittance. She got fired from her job just before retirement so got no money and eventually got a low paying job as an elder before she was fired from that too. Jasmine ended up earning money from the money tree (a mere 40 simoleons at every harvest). The most Jancine ever had was about 6,000 simoleons.
Jasmine grew well and went to uni but dropped out. She returned home with enough money to make the tiny house a little larger. Jancine hoped Jasmine would find a nice man to marry and live in a nicer, larger house and have babies. She wanted to be a granny.
Jasmine had other plans though. She wanted romance so she paid the gypsy woman for a blind date. But she didn’t choose a male. She chose a female.
The date went very well and Jasmine starting having feelings for the blonde woman. Unfortunately once the woman left, Jasmine had no way of contacting her. Jasmine complained to the gypsy woman who offered to give her another blind date – for a price. Jasmine paid more and expected someone better – perhaps prettier. To her disgust the second blind date turned out to be an old woman! Jasmine was angry – she’d paid thousands of simoleons and for what? She ended the date immediately and asked the gypsy woman for another date. She was determined.
Lo-and-behold a dark-haired young woman fell from the sky and looked dazed and confused. She asked Jasmine where she was and when Jasmine informed her that she was at her house in Veronaville and about to have a date with her, the woman was distressed and said she was engaged to a (male) student at Academie le Tour. Jasmine had had enough – was this the best the gypsy woman could do? She let the young woman go and turned angrily on the gypsy woman.
The gypsy woman was happy enough to try again – after all, she’d been paid well and was ready to go home. This time a young black woman was Jasmine’s date and Jasmine fell in love. She forgot about the gypsy woman and had a wonderful date and even better, she got the new woman’s phone number. Her name was Celeste Cameron.
Jasmine and Celeste got on very well and Jasmine invited Celeste to move in, which she did, bringing another 30,000 simoleons with her. Now they could (and had to) extend the house adding a wing to both storeys.
Jancine was rather shocked but accepting and she was the only guest at Jasmine and Celeste’s union. Jancine did mention to Jasmine that she wanted to be a grandmother so Jasmine said they’d eventually adopt once the house was finished and they had good jobs.
Christa Landgraab? Malcolm senior’s third wife. She married Dominic Brown and they had two kids – a girl and a boy. They lived in the house opposite the Landgraab residence. Dominic had a job in the military and Christa was a gamer when she wasn’t looking after the kids. Dominic finally got a really good promotion, bringing in lots of money when there was a thunderstorm and one of the trees outside caught fire. Dominic ran out, perhaps to put out the fire, or just to watch, but he got too close and burned to death.
Mehrissa and Larissa
Larissa was doing mathematics at uni and was enjoying it.

But I couldn’t be bothered getting her through so I made her drop out. She wasn’t too happy about that.

She moved back to Bluewater Village but instead of moving back home to share a bedroom with a baby, she moved into a beach house just by the sea. She got a job as a button masher but made a wrong choice and got fired. Damn. She was down to her last 800 Simoleans.
Meanwhile her kid sister, Adriana, had grown to a toddler and looks very much like her father, Adrian.

Wife number two leaves
Malcolm wasn’t having too much success in his relationships. Christa timed it wrong for her love interest to visit.

Malcolm caught Christa flirting with Dominic Brown when he returned from work. After a slapping he walked away, leaving Christa to continue flirting, which Malcolm junior still didn’t like.

So now Malcolm couldn’t sleep with either of the women in his house.
He put his energies into a new business. He bought the Simoleon Arcade and completely redid the place, making it into a furniture shop.

Even just working there by himself and with his slow cash register skill, he made quite a bit of money on the first day of opening.
Meanwhile, his wife, Jancine, had started seeing good friend, Dan Govan in Veronaville (Dan’s life is told at Growing Sims).
It became pretty obvious to Christa that Jancine was pregnant and that Malcolm wasn’t the father (they hadn’t slept in the same bed since Jancine had caught Malcolm and Christa together). The birth was witnessed by Christa and Malcolm junior. The baby girl was called Jasmine (after one of Dan’s deceased lovers).

Christa took care of it while Jancine slept.
Malcolm seemed oblivious of the advancing pregnancy, busy with his businesses and crime career. It wasn’t until he saw the baby that he realised and gave Jancine her marching orders.

The marriage was over.

Jancine was made to leave but without her baby. Malcolm spitefully took the baby, put it in the cot and promptly ignored it. Naturally she was not allowed to take their son either. He was the heir to the Landgraab riches.
Jancine moved across the road to where the murders of Malcolm’s other children had taken place. She didn’t know that, but she redecorated a particularly nasty room in the hopes of getting her baby back.

She hoped Christa would help out and smuggle her baby to her. Christa didn’t mind – she didn’t want to be left to look after the crying baby all the time. She dropped the kid off outside.

Jancine found her a bit later and was too thankful to have her daughter back to be angry at Christa, who’d done her a favour.

Baby Jasmine’s father, Dan, found out about Jancine’s eviction and invited her over, proposed and had them both move in. The details of Dan and Jancine’s relationship are over at Growing Sims.
Divorce and marriage
Malcolm lived on as usual, both in his career in crime and looking after his businesses. His electrical store was now Rank 2 but he hadn’t spent much time at the restaurant. When he was busy in his study he didn’t want his son annoying him or getting into the bathroom so he locked him outside on the balcony.

He sat there quite happily even after Malcolm snr had gone to bed and left him there. Jancine woke up and unlocked the door to feed him and put him to bed.
A couple of days later, Malcolm jnr grew into school age so he could use the bedroom above the garage and not bother Malcolm snr.

He has the scary eyebrows.
Meanwhile Malcolm’s legal wife, Mehrissa, and her ‘landlord’, Adrian Lewis, started getting friendly.

Larissa wasn’t too happy at first at all the cuddling and kissing with her mother, but she got used to it. Adrian wanted to marry Mehrissa but realised he couldn’t propose until she’d officially broken up with Malcolm.
So Mehrissa invited the unsuspecting Malcolm around while Larissa was at school. She was going to start an argument, but as it happens, she didn’t need to do anything because Malcolm caught her kissing Adrian who had just come up randomly and hugged her.

That’s all Mehrissa needed to break up with Malcolm.
Adrian wasted no time in proposing to her, even while Malcolm was still there.

Malcolm still didn’t like them hugging…

Adrian couldn’t stand around and see his fiancee being slapped so he attacked Malcolm.

Although Malcolm won the fight, Adrian asked him to leave. He had the option of paying him off with 50 Simoleans but he wasn’t about to give Malcolm a penny.
Mehrissa got a job as a lab assistant to help pay the bills. Malcolm had never allowed her to work when she was his wife. Adrian and Mehrissa had enough money to build upstairs.

And it was upstairs that they got married privately, with Larissa the only witness.

Mehrissa Landgraab IV was now Mehrissa Lewis and she was very happy.
The end of the Landgraab girls
Who was this evil bastard drowning girls?
![]()

But the girls actually softened him up. He didn’t want to drown any of them.
![]()

This is Billy – not ugly either.
![]()

Bobby with some weird cheek thing happening.
As children they looked identical (they were twins). They’re the first set of twins I’ve seen who actually were identical.
Extermy couldn’t decide which one he should spare, so he spared neither of them.

Although Billy had been in the water longer, it was Bobby who died first.

Now all the girls but Tracey were dead. Malcolm couldn’t afford to let anyone know so he had Extermy done away with as well.

Extermy had devoted his life to the girls – bringing them up, then killing most of them. He’d become an elder. And all he’d got out of it was a measly 50,000.
Tracey dropped out of college and is now living in Veronaville with the son of one of my families. You’ll have to go here to follow up on her story and Jerome’s.
Now back to the main Landgraab story.
Taking the plunge
Well, poor Extermy braved himself for drowning China and later, Macey. He kept their urns in his room until China’s ghost left too much water lying around everywhere and sold them off. Tracey went off to college and avoided experiencing the death of Macey (she was rather sad about the drowning of China, funnily enough).

Macey.
Now Extermy has Billy (now a child) and Bobby, a baby. Billy isn’t ugly either. In fact none of the kids have been really ugly (as others have said of Landgraab’s offspring). Extermy can’t quite bring himself to drown Billy just yet. He might wait until Bobby’s grown into a child too and see which is the uglier to drown…
Getting rid of the superfluous
Malcolm wasn’t too happy that his five illegitimate daughters survived. He didn’t want them clamouring for his wealth when they got older. One legitimate daughter was enough.
So he hired Termy Nator to adopt them all and kill them off as soon as they reached school age. Unfortunately the first child adopted was a black kid who was orphaned in Veronaville after being neglected by his parents and a subsequent adoptive parent. Then came Tracey. Termy Nator couldn’t handle it though. She was going nuts already and the kids were taken away again. Malcolm got rid of her and hired Extermy Nator, a hard heartless man who didn’t care about kids. Malcolm told him to kill the black kid as well.
But Jerome was so cute that Extermy couldn’t bring himself to kill him. He formed a bond with him and gave Jerome the attention he’d never had. Extermy had no intention of killing him off. Tracey was delivered again and Extermy prepared himself to drown her when she reached school age.
Both kids reached school age and Tracey went in the pool and Extermy took the ladder away. However, Tracey wasn’t so ugly as a kid – she looked ok, so Extermy didn’t want to kill her either. He put the ladder back.
Baby China was delivered next and Extermy looked after her while the others went to school. As a toddler China looked like Tracey.

Jerome became a teen and went off to college, leaving Tracey and her sister. There are still three girls to come. Will Extermy actually kill any of them?
